Named after the antique writing pen its shape so elegantly recalls, penne rigate is one of Italy's most beloved and versatile formats — and Liguori has been perfecting it in the Campania region of southern Italy since 1795. Made from 100% durum wheat semolina and slow-dried at low temperatures, each piece has a firm, satisfying bite and a ridged surface that grips every drop of sauce.
