How to Cook Flathead
The key is: gentle heat, short time — flathead cooks quickly
Pan-Fried (Best): Thaw, pat dry, season. Optionally dust with flour. Medium-high heat with oil/butter. 2–3 min per side. Rest 1–2 min.
Battered/Crumbed: Coat in seasoned flour, egg and breadcrumbs. Fry at 180°C for 3–4 min. Classic fish and chips fish.
