How to Cook Whole Raw Prawns
The key is: high heat, quick cooking
Grilled/BBQ (Best for whole prawns): Thaw, butterfly or leave whole. Brush with garlic butter. High heat, 2–3 min per side until shells turn pink and flesh opaque.
Pan-fried: Heat oil/butter over high heat. 1–2 min per side. C shape = cooked, O shape = overcooked.
Steamed/Boiled: Plunge into boiling salted water for 2–3 min until pink.
