Suggested Preparation

Thaw overnight in the refrigerator. Heat a wok or pan to very high heat with a little oil. Cook strips in a single layer for 2–3 minutes — do not overcrowd. The marinade will caramelise on the strips — this is what you want. Finish with sesame oil, toasted sesame seeds, and spring onion. Serve over steamed jasmine rice or soba noodles.
